SPRING-LOCK POWER RISE PEDESTAL

The Spring-Lock it's diecast aluminum base is three times stronger than a plastic base! The Spring-Lock works by means of a locking latch that extends from the pedestal post. When the Spring-Lock's push-button activator is depressed, the latch unlocks and allows removal of the post from the base. Each Spring-Lock pedestal is meticulously sized so that tolerances are assured within 2/1,000 of an inch! This puppy will not wobble! Spring-Lock posts and seat mounts will also fit into 1.770" type bases. This unique 2-position pedestal allows the seat to be used in a full upright position while fishing, or down in lower position while boat is underway. Quickly becoming a top favorite with boaters and fishermen every where! Now standard equipment in some of America's premier fishing boats! Two models travel from 13-1/2" to 20" or 22-1/2" to 29-1/2" at the touch of a lever. Seat mount is sturdy diecast aluminum with black powder-coat overlay finish for additional protection from the elements. Pedestal activates with Springfield's exclusive 2-way handle: lifting up or pushing downward will engage the travel mechanism. Swivels a full 360 degree. The cylinder is protected by a stainless steel sleeve.
