The top cover and sole plate is made from 316 grade stainless steel. 18-8 style stainless steel screws included. The thick bottom neoprene gasket holds up better in a salt water environment. The gasket thickness also allows the light to conform to the contours of many styles of boats. The 3 high power LED lights operate independently from the 8 side LED lights. Lights and electronics are sealed away from water.
